China Weiqi League
The China Weiqi League is a championship of utmost importance in China. Every big city or province is represented by a team of professional players, and compete in order to win a major national title.
Two teams will be in Bordeaux during the first weekend of the congress, and will play their match on Monday 25th, in the morning. The afternoon will be dedicated to game commentaries.
Pandanet Go European Team Championship
Pandanet-IGS is an Internet go server where hundreds of players from the whole world can gather and play at any time of the day or night. Many competitions are broadcast and sponsored by the server. One of them is the Pandanet Go European Team Championship. PGETC, which started in November 2010, is a competition organized by the European Go Federation (EGF) for the first time this year.
